I’ve had some great experiences here, especially with the double burger, which was fantastic the first time I had it. That said, I’ve learned that consistency depends a lot on who’s behind the grill. When Carlos is cooking, the burger is spot-on every time—juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Unfortunately, that hasn’t always been the case with other cooks. I’ve noticed overcooked burgers, especially at the Poughkeepsie location, where it seems to happen more often. Despite that, the service is always friendly, and the Beacon location remains my preferred spot—especially if I know Carlos is in the kitchen. It’s worth visiting, just be mindful that your experience may vary depending on who’s cooking. ”
